<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light emission device wherein even surface light can be emitted by suppressing generation of a dark part between light emitting elements. <P>SOLUTION: The surface light emission device is provided with a plurality of linear light source parts 110 each formed by mounting the light emitting elements on a long-length insulating substrate 1110 and a holding frame 120 respectively housing the plurality of linear light source parts 110 and arranging the linear light source parts in a linear shape along a side surface of a light guide plate. A holding hole fastening and holding a wide width part of a light diffusion sheet 150 which is formed in a belt shape is provided in the holding frame 120 and the light diffusion sheet 150 is disposed between the linear light source parts 110 and the light guide plate by attaching the light diffusion sheet 150 to the holding frame 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
