PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner with a dirt trapping filter and a filter cleaning mechanism for scraping dirt on the surface of the filter while removing dirt deposited on the reverse of the filter. SOLUTION: The cleaning mechanism has a toothed belt 10 which is driven to travel with the rotation of toothed first and second pulleys 11, 12 and reciprocated between the first and second pulleys 11, 12 in the state of winding on the first pulley 11 the filter 13 locked to the surface side. On the radial outside of each of the pulleys 11, 12, a restricting means is provided for restricting the uplifting. As a reverse side cleaner mechanism H, a roller 33 is provided which is turned with the filter 13 wound on the first pulley 11 coaxially therewith. On the outer peripheral face of the roller 33, a number of protrusions 51 are provided for discharging dirt deposited on the filter 13 through the mesh of the filter 13 from the reverse side to the surface side of the filter 13.
