PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display 10 which prevents the liquid crystal material from leaking by reliably sealing the filling hole, and whose panel size is precisely formed, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display 10. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display 10 has steps of: forming sealing frames 20 with apertures 22 opened and extending to the outside on the surface of the first transparent panel; making a stacked panel by adhering a second transparent panel to the first panel with the sealing frames 20 through them, a step of supplying a liquid crystal material through the apertures 22 to the areas surrounded by the sealing frames 20 on the stacked panel; hardening sealant 25 after supplying them to the apertures 22 used for filling the liquid crystal material on the stacked panel; and cutting the stacked panel with the hardened sealants 25 at the line crossing the hardened sealants 25 along the edges 24 of the apertures 22.
