<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance decomposing device, formed in a compact size and simply fitted, maintaining high decomposing activity for a long time, and simplify performing maintenance, and to provide an air quality improving device including the high-performance decomposing device. <P>SOLUTION: A decomposing activator isolating means 3 for functionally isolating the decomposing activator 2 from an object 9 to be decomposed, a decomposing object detecting means 10 and a decomposition accelerating means 13 are provided in a decomposition vessel 6. When the decomposing object detecting means 10 detects the object 9 to be decomposed in the decomposition vessel 6, the decomposing activator 2 is released in the decomposition vessel 6, and the object 9 to be decomposed is efficiently decomposed by the decomposition accelerating means 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
