<p>The invention relates to a modular closure latch mechanism. The inventive mechanism consists of: a mechanism case (1), a latch (2) comprising a bevelled face (8) and a longitudinal face (9) which is parallel to the plane of the door (47), a latch support (3), a latch pivot pin (4), a bolt (5) for preventing the rotation of the latch (2), a rotary lever (6) bearing the anti-rotation bolt (5), a traveller (7) which can slide longitudinally parallel to the plane of the door (47), and traveller-actuation means. According to the invention, the latch (2) is installed in the support (3) using the pivot pin (4). In addition, the latch is equipped with a housing (11) having a semi-circular cross-section, the ends of which extend tangentially, which is parallel to the pivot pin (4) and which is disposed on the rear face (10) thereof at a distance from the plane of the door (47) which is suitably greater than that from the pivot pin (4) and opposite said pin (4).</p> |
