PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller in which emergence of vibration mode for exciting vibration of the rotor of a motor can be prevented.

SOLUTION: The controller 20 for controlling a motor in a drive system for transmitting power of a motor M to a member driven by the motor M through a transmission member H interposed between the driven member and the rotor R of the motor M controls the motor M by bringing voltage command values Vd and Vq (Vu, Vv, Vw) to zero when the electric angular velocity ω of the rotor R exceeds a predetermined electric angular velocity α.
