PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a plasma display panel that is in correspondence with higher definition and is capable of forming a phosphor layer with accuracy. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for plasma display panel for forming a phosphor layer with the use of phosphor ink at least containing phosphor particles and a solvent includes a process of having the phosphor ink pass through a nozzle 24 with a diameterψof 300μm or smaller at a pressure of 100 MPa or higher, to cause the phosphor particles to disperse, and the phosphor layer is formed with the use of the phosphor ink with the phosphor particles being dispersed in that process.
