PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article with flexible wing parts which can be easily folded along side edges of the crotch of the underwear and which can be easily and quickly fixed to the underwear, excellent in the prevention of staining of the underwear. SOLUTION: The absorbent article comprises an absorbent body 11 with an absorbent layer 11 and a leakage preventive layer 16, and a pair of wing parts 2 and 2 disposed on both sides of the absorbent body 11 in the longitudinal direction. The shape of each wing part 2 is asymmetric in the front and rear of a crossing line TL in the cross direction passing the midpoint 27c of the edge 27 at the distal end of the wing part 2.
