PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method removing volatile organic compounds such as acetaldehyde and formaldehyde contained in polyester resin molded products, keeping properties of the molded products and generating no new byproducts. SOLUTION: The method for producing polyester resin molded products and decreasing formaldehyde content comprises heating polyester resin at≥120°C but≤250°C after melt-molding.
