PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional operating switch installed mainly on a front panel and a steering wheel of an automobile in which noise at the time of operation is prevented with a simple structure and a good operation feeling can be obtained. SOLUTION: An elastic portion 13A is installed at the upper end of a pushing unit 13 which is installed capable of moving vertically on a case 1 and of which the upper end contacts near the both ends at the lower face of an operating unit 2. Thereby, when the operating unit 2 returns to a neutral position after pushing operation, shock with the lower face of the operating unit 2 is alleviated by the elastic portion 13A at the upper end of the pushing unit 13, occurrence of noise can be reduced, and the low noise at the time of operation can be realized with a simple structure, thus the multidirectional switch with the good operation feeling can be obtained.
