COMPOSITIONS OF PPO-INHIBITING COMPOUNDS AND N-ALKYLPYRROLIDONES

Herbicidal compositions comprising (a) a N-(C6-C2o)alkylpyrrolidone and (b) a PPO-inhibiting compound of formula (I): where R, R1, X, and n are as described herein are disclosed. The compositions provide unexpectedly improved control of undesired weeds without adversely affecting crop tolerance combined with desired rainfast characteristics. Also disclosed are methods of controlling undesired plant growth by the application of such compositions to a locus where undesired plants or weeds are growing or are expected to grow.
