<p>An apparatus for liquid-drop printing using electric charge concentration and liquid bridge breakup is provided to offer excellent repetition and reproducibility irrespective of electrical property of a solution to be printed on a substrate. An apparatus for liquid-drop printing using electric charge concentration and liquid bridge breakup includes a water tank(20), a capillary nozzle(10), an open type power supply device(40), a substrate mounting part(33), and a distance adjusting unit. The water tank stores a solution. The capillary nozzle, the rear end of which sinks in the solution in the water tank and the front end of which is placed in an outside of the surface of the solution, transmits the solution to the front end using a capillary force. The open type power supply device supplies the power for the solution. The substrate on which the solution is printed is mounted so as to face the capillary nozzle in the substrate mounting part. The distance adjusting unit reciprocates the substrate between a near first position and a far second position relative to the capillary nozzle.</p> |
