PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the horizontal stability of a chair, to reduce the risk that a sitting person's lower limb region may bump against a front leg, and to make a side leg inconspicuous. SOLUTION: The right and left side legs 9 for supporting a seating body 2 are formed in such a chevron shape in side view as to have the front legs 9a inclined forward and downward and back legs 9b inclined backward and downward. The right and left front legs 9a and the right and left back legs 9b are expanded outward and sideward in a plan view, and a back portion of the front leg 9a and a front portion of the back leg 9b are positioned in positions below the seating body 2 and inner positions with respect to both side ends, respectively.
