PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate copolymer having further improved properties as a binder resin for forming an electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided with a photosensitive layer containing at least a charge generating material and a charge transport material on a conductive support, wherein a surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains the above polycarbonate copolymer having structural units represented by formulae (1)-(3).
