<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a real time clock device operating at low voltage and low current, and its control method. <P>SOLUTION: The real time clock device 10 comprises an oscillating circuit 14 for outputting source oscillation, a nonvolatile memory 18 that stores real time data and selectively receives current, a volatile memory 20 for receiving the real time data from the nonvolatile memory 18 and holding it, and a real time clock circuit 16 for performing clocking using the source oscillation input from the oscillating circuit 14 and the real time data stored in the volatile memory 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
