Methods and systems for generating revenue using streaming video (18) that includes primarily informative content are disclosed. An indication of one or more products or services is preferably provided in the content of the streaming video (18). The indicatio may be a picture, audio indication, or both, of the product or service. A link is preferably placed in the streaming video (18) that directly or indirectly links a user or viewer to a site that has additional information related to the one or more products or services indicated in the streaming video (18). Revenue may be generated from companies that offer the products or services indicated or featured in the streaming video (18). The service or business providing the streaming video (18), companies offering the products or services, and/or web site(s) distributing the streaming video (18) may receive and/or share some or all of the generated revenue.
