<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording liquid which can be discharged as an ink droplet with an excellent discharge stability, and an inkjet head using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording liquid is an oil-based inkjet recording liquid which contains a pigment particulate as a colorant and has a water content of ≤500 ppm, provided that the pigment particulate has a surface zeta potential of -10 mV or smaller. Preferably, the moisture content is ≤250 ppm, and the surface zeta potential of the pigment particulate is -20 mV or smaller. The pigment particulate preferably has an average particle size of 50-300 nm.
