PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular shift operating device improved in parts assembling workability. SOLUTION: The vehicular shift operating device 1 is provided with a lighting lamp 85 for lighting a display section 52 from a back side of a shift panel 5, a wiring substrate 8 provided with a first switch 90 for detecting that a shift lever 3 is shifted to a manual range, a second switch 9A for detecting that the shift lever 3 is shifted up and a third switch 9B for detecting that the shift lever 3 is shifted down, and a case 6 for housing the wiring substrate 8.
