PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrier capable of maintaining good operability and having high durability; and to provide a camera with the lens barrier. SOLUTION: The lens barrier is equipped with: an internal barrier engaged with the main body of an imaging apparatus which is equipped with a photographic lens to condense light to form an image, and capable of sliding in a predetermined direction; an external barrier attached to the surface of the internal barrier that is different from the surface engaged with the main body of the imaging apparatus, and having an aperture part piercing through in a thickness direction; and a grip member held between the internal barrier and the external barrier, and partially appearing to the outside from the surface of the external barrier through the aperture part.
