摘要 A method for controlling an engine drag torque is provided to improve a stability of a vehicle by increasing an engine torque to raise force of a driving wheel. Engine drag torque controlling method comprises the step of determining whether a gear is in an in-gear state(S102). If the gear is in the in-gear state, magnitudes of an actual engine speed and an estimated engine speed are compared to each other and it is determined whether the engine is in an engine drag state(S103). If the engine is in the engine drag state, the engine torque control amount is increased such that a wheel slip rate of a driving wheel reaches a target slip rate. If the engine has the engine drag state, a slip error between the wheel slip rate and the target slip rate is calculated(S106). A required engine torque control amount is calculated using the slip error(S107).
