FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed magnetic filter for designed cleaning engine oil from metal particles contains at least one magnetic installed on way of oil flow. Said magnetic is mounted in space formed by cavity of engine cylinder block and oil filter on oil filter union by means of limiter made of nonmagnetic material and provided with magnet position stop at each side of magnet seat. Magnet can be made in form of ring. Magnet position stop is provided with at least one cone-shaped end face surface pointed to magnet. Magnet position stop can be made in form of ring projection. Magnets of ring can be made with different diameter and arranged on stop in steps. Magnetic rings are of equal diameter and are arranged on stop in succession. Stop can be made of polyethylene, or caprone, or fluoroplastic or textolite. ^ EFFECT: improved cleaning of oil from metal particles. ^ 7 cl, 2 dwg
