PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device for displaying a range including a focusing point by a high probability initially, an image display method and an image display program. SOLUTION: The image display device comprises: a request reception means for receiving a digital image enlarged display request; a focusing point specifying means for specifying the focusing point on the digital image; a face area specifying means for specifying a face area on the digital image; and an enlarged display means for enlarging and displaying the range including the focusing point first in the case that the focusing point can be specified in the focusing point specifying means and enlarging and displaying the range including the face area first in the case that the focusing point can not be specified in the focusing point specifying means and the face area can be specified in the face area specifying means when the enlarged display request is received in the request reception means.
