<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for molding an elastic roller, suitable for manufacturing the elastic roller excellent in the properties of elasticity, dimensional stability, adhesion resistance and electric homogeneity and the like and having a long life and capable of improving productivity, reducing the waste of a raw material i.e., a liquid silicone mixture and improving the yield of the product; to provide the elastic roller manufactured by it; and to provide an electrophotographic image forming device using it. <P>SOLUTION: The mold for molding the elastic roller has a cylindrical mold having a cavity, a mold on one end that is fitted on the end part of the cylindrical mold and equipped with a sprue, and a mold on the other end that is fitted on the other end of the cylindrical mold and equipped with a vent, and it is characterized in that the shape of the sprue is a truncated cone widening towards the cavity side. Also provided are the elastic roller manufactured by using this mold for molding the elastic roller, a development roller that has one or more coat layers provided on the elastic roller, and the electrophotographic image forming device equipped with this development roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
