PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure water quality while only supplying water to a water treatment apparatus. SOLUTION: A water quality measurement system is composed of: a water quality measurement device 7 connected to the down stream of the water treatment apparatus 3 for performing measurement operation based on previously set measurement interval time and an external indication signal; and the measurement control device 8 connected with the water quality measurement device 7. The measurement control device 8 is characterized by outputting a measurement permission signal or a measurement inhibition signal to the water quality measurement device 7 on the basis of the detection result of presence/absence of water supply to the water treatment apparatus 3 by a flow switch 6.
