PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container provided with a detection unit for detecting, in a binary way, whether or not an amount of liquid stored in the liquid container is a predetermined value or larger, wherein an output signal of the detection unit is transmitted to a liquid consuming apparatus by an electric wave changed according to with a pressure change of the liquid in a sensor chamber to dispense with electric contact between the liquid consuming apparatus and the liquid container and avoid a trouble of poor contact causing a problem in the case of providing an electric contact for surely performing the detection of a liquid residual quantity. SOLUTION: The liquid container 1 stored with liquid in the liquid container includes a pressurized fluid introduction port 7 for introducing a pressurized fluid to the inside, a liquid delivery port 6 for delivering the liquid to the outside, a liquid reservoir chamber 40 which stores the liquid and delivers the liquid by receiving the pressure of the pressurized fluid, a sensor chamber 42 which is formed in order to communicate with the liquid reservoir chamber 40 and transmits the pressure of the liquid of the liquid reservoir chamber 40 to the liquid inside, and detection means 17, 19 and 20 provided in the sensor chamber 42 for detecting whether or not the amount of liquid stored in the liquid container is the predetermined value or larger.
