An apparatus, a system and a method for managing contents distribution in client terminals within a group are provided to distribute contents under manless automation environment by deciding a distribution object and a distribution path of version upgrade contents according to an optimized priority considering update using external file reception or inner file transmission, a contents data size, a distribution path number and so on. A contents distribution managing apparatus comprises the followings: a unit(31) which receives a contents distribution plan including contents search and identification method, a download server, a distribution policy and a control set from a contents distribution central server, and stores the received plan in a database; a unit(32) for inspecting contents installation state of an individual client terminal based on the contents identification and search method; a unit(33) for deciding a distribution path and distribution file having lowest energy consumption based on a data size, a distribution speed, a user number and so on within limit environment information considering a transfer stop density and a maximum transfer path if the contents installation state is grasped; and a unit(34) for transmitting a control set corresponding to the distribution file and the distribution path to the decided client terminal. |
