METHOD AND APPARATUS OF GEOMETRIC CORRECTION OF IMAGE USING LOS VECTOR ADJUSTMENT MODEL

A method and an apparatus for geometrically correcting an adjustment model of an LOS vector are provided to perform more exact geometric correction by using the adjustment vector of the LOS vector obtained by adjusting a photographing angle of a sensor of a photographing device. An image taken by photographing the surface of an earth and assistant information about the image are obtained(a). Earth coordinates of a reference point on the ground and image coordinates matching with the earth coordinates are obtained, thereby obtaining an erroneous correction material(b, c). An LOS vector of a sensor of a photographing device is adjusted by using the earth coordinates, the image coordinates, and the assistant information(d). The distortion of an image is corrected by applying the erroneous correction material to the adjustment of the LOS vector to provide the earth coordinates to the image coordinates, so that the distortion of an image is corrected.
