PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire sensor capable of alarming abnormality of a capacitor, at an early stage, and quickly replacing the fire sensor. SOLUTION: The device is the fire sensor having a constant-voltage circuit, the capacitor connected in parallel to the above constant-voltage circuit, a voltage drop detection means to detect the value of the drop of both-end voltage of the capacitor due to increase in ESR of the capacitor, a comparison means to compare the value of the voltage drop detected by the voltage drop detection means with a designated threshold of the voltage drop, and a capacitor abnormality deciding means to decide that the capacitor is abnormal when the value of the voltage drop detected by the voltage drop means is larger than the designated threshold, resulting from the comparison by the comparison means.
