An impeller for a centrifugal fan, constructed by fixing resin blades, each having inside a space, to a resin blade-supporting rotating body by laser welding. The welding surfaces of the blades and the welding surfaces of an end plate and an end ring are made to have an excellent intimate contact with each other, so that stabilized welding strength is achieved. The blade (44) of the impeller is hollow and has a first blade welding section (53) welded to a plate welding surface (47a) of the end plate (43). A first blade welding surface (53g, 53h, 53i, 53j) is formed at the first blade welding section (53), and the first blade welding surface is tilted relative to the plate welding surface (47a) with the first blade welding section (53) placed to axially face the plate welding section (47a). |
