The layer for fire-retardant wall for fire-retardant door and flap, exhibits an enamel coating (1) with an agent, which leads in a case of fire and at a predetermined temperature of 300[deg]C to intentional damage of the enamel coating. The agent shows an alloy, metal, carbonate salt or carbamide and a size of 0.5-1.0 mm. The agent is available as an inlay in the enamel coating. An independent claim is included for a fire retardant wall.
