<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate driving by reducing a load of a toner agitation member when the toner agitation member is driven after a toner cartridge is inserted in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The toner cartridge 1 stores toner supplied to a developing unit 23, and is inserted in a copying machine 25 provided with a toner cartridge mounting part 24. The toner cartridge 1 comprises a toner cartridge case 2, a separation panel 60, and a drive mechanism 80. The toner cartridge 2 has a toner storing part for storing the toner inside and a toner agitation part provided adjacently downward of the toner storing part and provided with a toner agitation paddle 31 agitating the toner. The separation panel 60 separates the toner storing part from the toner agitation part. The drive mechanism 80 drives the separation panel 60 so as to release separation between the toner storing part and the toner agitation part before supplying the toner to the developing unit 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
