PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate button operation by reducing the number of operation buttons. SOLUTION: In a key input device having a number of key switches 200, each key switch 200 has a plurality of electrode sections 212, 213 provided on a substrate 210; a conductive plate 220 arranged at the upper portion of the plurality of electrode sections 212, 213; and a key button 230 arranged at the upper portion of the plate 220. The plate 220 is deformed according to the level of press to the key button 230 and a contact state to the plurality of electrode sections 212, 213 is changed, thus forming a plurality of input operation states.
