PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a contact of a packing with a seal surface is poor owing to a large shrinkage or warping on a resin-made seal surface, resulting in a poor seal performance and a variation in the performance when a running water port is formed in a resin-made casing like a conventional pump. SOLUTION: A pump 1 is provided with: the running water port through which a liquid flows and disposed in the casing; and a packing 9 to switch the closing and opening of the running water port. The seal surface of the running water port with which a switching valve 5 is brought in contact is formed by insert molding with a metal flat plate 7. In the pump provided with the resin-made casing, an oil seal disposed in the casing, and the housing to store the oil seal, a metal bowl is insert-molded in the fitting portion of the housing.
