PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surly drain tap water even when an opening/closing lid is mounted. SOLUTION: A space between the inner peripheral wall of a hopper 3 and the outer peripheral wall of a housing 4 mounted with a crushing unit 10, is used as a drain line 100 when the lid is closed. For this, an outer diameter of the housing is set smaller than an inner diameter of the hopper to form a smallest allowable clearance Wa between the hopper and housing. A drain port 90 is provided for inducing tap water in the sink side to the drain line, toward the inner face from a flange 70 of an inner lid 8b of the opening/closing lid 8. This configuration allows draining of used tap water to the drain line side, without overflowing into the kitchen sink, even when the housing is closed with the opening/closing lid.
