<p>A process for producing a soldered and welded layer heat transfer unit (1) comprises a layer block (2) composed of separation and cover plates (7,8,9,10), and collection boxes connected to the unit. The separation and cover plates are stacked and then pressure is applied to opposite sides of the block. Weld seams (11) are applied to the block to maintain tension, and then solder is applied and the block is soldered. The pressure applied to the plates is about 10KN. The separation and cover plates consist of stainless steel. The high temperature solder is based on Cu or Al.</p> |
