PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition having good curability and water-resistant adhesion. SOLUTION: The curable composition contains an organic polymer (A) having a hydroxy group or a hydrolyzable group bonded to a silicon atom, and at least one silicon-containing group capable of being crosslinked by forming a siloxane bond, and a curing catalyst (B) obtained by reacting an organotin represented by general formula (1) R<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>SnO (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group) with a maleic diester represented by general formula (2) R<SP>3</SP>OCOCH=CHCOOR<SP>4</SP>(wherein, R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are each independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group).
