A system for receiving a cash receipt for authenticating a check, and a check endorsing information inputting method and a check authenticating method using the same are provided to prevent illegal check use, and minimize damage of a member shop and a user by authenticating user information based on cash receipt registration information of the user and writing endorsement information to the check received from the user. A transaction approval terminal(11) receives the cash receipt registration information of the user, system authentication information, and a check number of the received check. The terminal transmits an authentication request message including the cash receipt registration information to a VAN(Value Added Network) company(20) and receives the user information corresponding to the cash receipt registration information. A check authentication server(40) authenticates the user by comparing the authentication information received from the terminal with the authentication information stored in a database server(60), extracts the user information from the database server based on an authentication result, and provides the extracted user information to the terminal.
