PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish the sufficient alignment state of a bundle of paper by a simple constitution without giving damage to a rear end of the paper. SOLUTION: The sheet processing device having a processing means for performing predetermined processing including alignment processing to the conveyed-in paper is provided with a staple tray 10 for stacking the paper; a rear end fence 27 for aligning a conveying direction by abutting a rear end in a conveying direction of the paper stacked on the staple tray 10; an approachable/separable hitting roller 8 for feeding the paper to the rear end fence 27 side every one sheet such that the paper sheets delivered to the staple tray 10 are abutted on the rear end fence 27; bundle conveying rollers 13a, 13b with a part of the roller exposed to a stack surface of the staple tray 10 and nipping/conveying the aligned bundle of paper; and a control device for driving the bundle conveying rollers 13a, 13b in a rear end fence 27 direction when the first paper sheet is stacked on the staple tray 10.
