A composition for improving wrinkle on the skin comprising plant extracts is provided to accelerate biosynthesis of collagen in the skin without causing skin troubles such as irritation and flare, thereby removing skin wrinkles. The composition for improving wrinkle on the skin comprises 0.0001 to 10.0 wt.%, preferably 0.0001 to 5.0 wt.%, more preferably 0.0001 to 1 wt.% of the extract of maize(Zea mays) leaf as an effective ingredient, wherein the maize(Zea mays) leaf extract is prepared by extracting powder of maize(Zea mays) leaf with water, C1-C4 anhydrous or hydrous lower alcohol, ethylacetate, acetone or hexane, preferably ethanol at 40-100 deg.C for 1-5 hours. The composition is a cosmetic, food or pharmaceutical composition.
