A method of installing a door glass (15) on a vehicle door (16). The door glass is tilted relative to the front-rear direction of a vehicle to reduce the length in the front-rear direction of the door glass. The tilted door glass is lowered to position it between a pair of sashes (121, 122) provided at the front and rear of the vehicle door.
