<p>A bulk acoustic wave resonator device comprises a piezoelectric resonator (10, 20, 30) mounted on an acoustic reflector (50), the acoustic reflector (50) comprising a plurality of layers having alternating relatively low and high acoustic impedance. The thickness of the layers is arranged to provide maximum reflection at a frequency offset from the resonant frequency of the piezoelectric resonator (10, 20, 30).
