PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crushing face member capable of performing effective mixing and crushing by suppressing any slip even in a crushing process requiring chipping of wood in the case woody biomass is mixed with coal and crushed. SOLUTION: A portion A of low wear resistance and a portion B of high wear resistance are alternately formed on a surface of a crushing face member 20. The crushing face member is constituted by combining a first group (a) in which the array direction of the portion A of low wear resistance and the portion B of high wear resistance is inclined in one direction with respect to the member moving direction, and a second group b in which the array direction thereof is inclined in the other direction.
