PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake controller for a vehicle capable of obtaining both of smoothness and responsiveness of braking control while using a linear valve between a plurality of wheel cylinders of wheels in common. SOLUTION: In the brake controller 1 for vehicle which includes the linear valve 31 using between each wheel cylinder 11FL, 11FR, 11RL, 11RR of the plurality of wheels and capable of adjusting a pressure introduced from a power supply unit 20 to each wheel cylinder, a bypass passage 40 bypassing the linear valve 31 to introduce a working fluid from the unit 20 to the wheel cylinder side, and bypass valves 41, 37 for opening/closing the bypass passage 40 are provided between the unit 20 and the wheel cylinder 11. If a pressure increase to the wheel cylinder 11 is required, the operation of the bypass valves 37, 41 is controlled so that the working fluid may be supplied from the unit 20 to the wheel cylinder side through the bypass passage 40.
