PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution of a music information internet system that enables a desired musical piece to immediately be reproduced and listened to by transmitting a music digital signal corresponding to the desired musical piece to a digital audio player on a terminal. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the music information internet system that enables terminal computers 2 to communicate with each other through a network 1, the music information internet system being characterized in that a specified intermediate server 3 has a memory in which compressed musical digital signals are recorded by pieces of music and a mechanism which converts a compressed signal in the memory into an uncompressed music digital signal with time and the converted music digital signal is transmitted to a digital audio player 4 corresponding to an address number in response to reception of a signal specifying the specified piece of music and the address number of the digital audio player 4 as a transmission destination from a specified terminal computer 2.
