PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tap serving as particularizing a noise source without interrupting power of a target electric apparatus. SOLUTION: A power line communication signal transmission/interruption circuit (18) that can select the transmission or interruption of a power line communication signal according to an external control signal is disposed on a power line (16) between a power plug (12) and a power socket (14). A spectral measurement circuit (22) is connected to the power line (16). A control circuit (24) interrupts the power line communication signal transmission/interruption circuit (18) for a prescribed period to allow the spectral measurement circuit (22) to measure spectrum on the power line (16) during the interruption. The control circuit (24) transmits a result of the measurement to an external device such as an integrated management apparatus for managing a power line communication network via a transmission reception circuit (20).
