PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which inhibits the degradation of image quality resulting from printing a printing image by carrying out multiple times of scanning of a common region on print media. SOLUTION: A printing method comprises a process of forming dot data showing the formation state of a dot to each printing pixel by performing half-tone processing. The printing image is formed by mutually combining the dots formed in the printing pixel belonging to each of a plurality of pixel groups in which a physical difference is assumed in a common printing region. The half tone processing is constituted by providing with a predetermined characteristic all of the dot patterns formed in the pixel group formed by combining a plurality of the pixel groups having physical similarity.
