<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system with superior energy efficiency, capable of carrying out hot water supply at a stable hot water temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The cogeneration system is provided with a hot water storage tank, a hot water supply path supplying hot water of the hot water storage tank to a hot water using portion, a circulation path circulating a heating medium, a heat source machine heating the heating medium, a first temperature sensor detecting a temperature of the heating medium, a first heat exchanger carrying out heat exchange between the heating medium and the hot water flowing through the hot water supply path, a first driving means for circulating the heating medium, a power generation unit, a cooling water outgoing path supplying cooling water to the power generation unit, a cooling water return path supplying the cooling water heated by the power generation unit to the hot water storage tank, a second heat exchanger carrying out heat exchange between the cooling water and the heating medium, a second driving means for carrying out communication of the cooling water, and a controller.
