PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging device capable of imparting the strong stiffness of folding a packaging member similar to that of a thick packaging member even when using the packaging member which has the weak stiffness and is thin and made of a synthetic resin, and correctly and smoothly performing the angle-fold packaging. SOLUTION: A formed food P is elevated and transferred to a packaging mechanism unit 1 together with a packaging member Q arranged thereabove by a projecting mechanism unit 21 from a lower side of the formed food P placed on a food conveying mechanism. The packaging mechanism unit 1 has a folding die 24 by an arc-shaped opening frame with its inner periphery curved outwardly so that the packaging member P is corner-folded in an outwardly curved manner from an upper surface side of the formed food to right and left, front and rear faces by the projecting movement of the projecting mechanism unit 21. A suction mechanism unit 25 for maintaining an outwardly curved outer surface of the packaging member P in a curved shape with the negative pressure is added to a curved wall surface side of the folding die 24.
