摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a force control that a requested force is generated appropriately with high responsiveness in a die cushion mechanism by a controller for the die cushion mechanism adopting a servo motor as its drive source. SOLUTION: The controller 10 comprises: a force command unit 18 for commanding the force F to be generated in a die cushion mechanism 12; a force detection unit 20 for detecting the force F generated by the die cushion mechanism 12 to a slide 16; a slide speed detection unit 22 for detecting the moving speed V of the slide 16; and a force control unit 24 for performing the force control to a servo motor 14. The force control unit 24 performs the different force control to the servo motor 14 by using the detected slide speed value D1 detected by at least the slide speed detection unit 22 following control loops L1, L2 different from each other both in the initial stage to the predetermined timing after the die cushion mechanism 12 starts to generate the force F to the slide 16 and in the subsequent stage from the predetermined timing.
