<p>#CMT# #/CMT# An assembly for caring for and/or making up keratin materials, comprises at least one container delimiting at least one compartment, applicator associated with the container, and a composition, placed inside the compartment and containing at least one fatty/aqueous phase, and compound(s) (at least 50 wt.%) approved for food use. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is included for a cosmetic process for caring for and/or making up keratin material(s) involving the application, on contact with a keratin material, of a composition packaged in the assembly (A1). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# For caring for and/or making up keratin materials (claimed) applied to the skin, the lips and the integuments including makeup and care product for the skin and the lips, such as lipstick, lip balms, lip pencils, liquid or solid foundations, especially cast as a stick or a dish, concealer products and skin coloring products, temporary tattoos, eye makeup products, for instance eye liners, in particular in the form of pencils, mascaras or eyeshadows. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The presence of the compounds in the assembly does not prove to be harmful to the expected associated qualities for a cosmetic composition, for e.g. as regards wear or gloss in the case of lipsticks, or covering power in the more particular case of foundations. The composition comprises compounds approved for food use. #CMT#INSTRUMENTATION AND TESTING : #/CMT# Preferred Assembly: The assembly also comprises unit especially in the form of a stencil, delimiting at least one determined motif so as to allow the application of the composition to the keratin materials according to the motif. The applicator is securely fastened to a member for sealing off an aperture of the container; and comprises an application unit formed at the end of a member, especially in the form of an elongated stem, connecting the application unit to the sealing member. The application unit is in the form of a coarse brush, a comb, a fine brush, a felt, a sinter, an open-cell or closed-cell foam, a feather, a tip or a spatula. The application unit is securely fastened to the container, especially in the form of a block of foam, a sinter, a system of roll-on type of a perforated wall. The unit comprises at least one surface intended to come into contact with the keratin materials so as to allow the application to these materials of the composition, the surface being in permanent or selective communication with the composition inside the container. The composition is in the form of a solid wand placed inside a case formed by the container equipped with a mechanism capable of passing the wand from a first position in which it is arranged essentially inside the case, to a second position in which at least part of the wand emerges from the case through an aperture such that an application surface of the solid wand is outside the case to allow the application of the composition to the keratin materials. The container is equipped with a draining unit through which the application unit is intended to pass at least when the unit is removed from the container so as to dose the amount of composition present on the application unit. The applicator comprises a support, especially in the form of a patch, a wipe, a pad, a mask or a glove, on which and/or inside which is placed the composition, especially by impregnation or any other deposition unit. The support comprising the composition is placed inside the container. The applicator comprises a support, one surface of which, is flocked, and is intended to come into contact with the composition in order to take up an amount of this composition so as to apply it to the keratin materials. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Composition: The composition comprises at least one dyestuff; compound(s) approved for food use (at least 55, preferably 85, especially 100 wt.%); aqueous phase (0.1 - 50 wt.%); and fatty phase containing (wt.%) oil (0.1 - 99, preferably 5 - 70, especially 20 - 60), wax (1 - 50, preferably 3 - 40, especially 7 - 20) and/or pasty fatty substance. The composition is in the form of solution, an emulsion or a stick. The composition has a mean gloss value of >=5 (preferably >=20, specially 30); covering power of >=30 (preferably >=75, especially 80 - 100); and transfer index of >=30 (preferably >=55, especially >=70)%. Preferred Components: The oil is at least one fatty acid selected from caprylic acid, capric acid, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, ricinoleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, arachidic acid, gadoleic acid, behenic acid, erucic acid, brassidic acid, cetoleic acid, lignoceric acid and/or nervonic acid (preferably heptanoic or octanoic triglyceride, groundnut oil, babassu oil, coconut oil, grape seed oil, cottonseed oil, corn oil, corn germ oil, mustard seed oil, palm oil, rapeseed oil, sesame seed oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil, wheatgerm oil, apricot oil, canola oil, mango oil, castor oil, shea oil, avocado oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil, peach kernel oil, hazelnut oil, walnut oil, macadamia oil, jojoba oil, alfalfa oil, poppy seed oil, pumpkin oil, marrow oil, blackcurrant oil, evening primrose oil, millet oil, barley oil, quinoa oil, rye oil, safflower oil, candlenut oil, passionflower oil, musk rose oil or shea butter oil and/or caprylic/capric acid triglyceride. The pasty compound is polyol ester. Preferred Components: The dyestuff is selected from the compounds referenced in the Codex alimentarius and/or pearls consisting of materials referenced in the Codex alimentarius. The wax is selected from carnauba wax, candelilla wax, beeswax, microcrystalline wax, ozokerite and/or rice wax. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# A lipstick composition was prepared comprising (wt.%) white substance (87.71) containing (wt.%) Ozokerite (9.9), Beeswax (3.4), caprylic/capric acid triglyceride (7.4), apricot kernel oil (22.3), sucrose acetate isobutyrate (38.4), hydrogenated plant oil (17.6) and starch (1); titanium oxide (1.12); brown, yellow iron oxide (0.75); candurin silver sparkle pearl (4.17); candurin silver sheen pearl (2.08) and candurin gold shimmer pearl (4.17).</p> |
